High Desert Yoga seeks to expand and connect with the greater Albuquerque community bringing yoga off of our mats and out of our studio. We strive to offer classes, events and celebrations that bring people from all walks of life together.

September 30   Can You See Us Now?  Bike Ride and Rally
ride leaves from studio parking lot at 4pm.
Come early to register, get packet and visit booths.

Ongoing Classes and Events
Tuesdays: Cancer Care Yoga from 11:15-12:15pm - no charge to participants
Sundays:  Family Yoga class 10:15-11:00am, donation $5-$10 requested.
Sundays: Level 1 Yoga at 8:00-9:15am, donation $5-$10 requested.
Sundays:  Vinyasa Class at 9:00am, donation of $5 requested.

We have hosted a weekly Yoga for Cancer class at no cost to the participants for over 8 years. 

We regularly participate in local health fairs and holistic health awareness events.  Most recently we have offered teen yoga classes in partnership with The Media Arts Collaborative Charter School (MACCS) and classes for family night at neighborhood churches.

We take yoga off the mat and into nature by hosting Yoga and Hiking days at areas around New Mexico!

Come and participate in community yoga classes, we donate the proceedings to local community groups. Check our schedule for adult and kid donation only yoga classes! High Desert Yoga Teachers volunteer regularly with Community Yoga Albuquerque which grew out of High Desert Yoga and offers free yoga classes at various sites around town.  Some past and current sites are Cesar Chavez Community Center, EPC, S.A.F.E house in Albuquerque, North Valley Senior Center, Southwest Creations Collaborative, NM Solutions, Inc., The Youth Diagnostic and Development Center, Citizens Schools and more.

High Desert Yoga also sponsors two local bicycle groups:  Duke City Wheelmen, a local club, racing team and cycling advocacy group and Cafe Giuseppe, a local club and racing team.  We also sponsor and host Can You See Us Now?, the annual bike ride and rally every fall.
